Teresa Giudice, the reality star known from The Real Housewives of New Jersey, recently opened up (May 7) about her encounter with pop sensation Taylor Swift at Coachella. During Giudice's appearance on The Talk, she labeled the hitmaker a "sweetheart" and reflected on her fangirl moment. 

She said it happened so quickly, leaving her with little time to jump on the opportunity. Although she initially hesitated to approach Swift for a photo, her husband, Louis Ruelas, egged her on. 

'Well, we walked in first, we were in the VIP area first and all the sudden, Taylor and her boyfriend [Travis Kelce] start walking by and comes, passes us right next to us, and my husband is like, 'Babe, that's Taylor Swift!' I'm like, 'Oh my God!'" she explained. 

The 51-year-old later told E! News that she typically doesn't approach other celebrities out of respect, but she thought of Swift's biggest fan — Jennifer Aydin, Giudice's fellow Housewives co-star. 

"I didn't want to ask her for a photo because I didn't want to bother her," she stressed. "Jennifer Aydin [who's] on my show, she loves her. I'm like, 'Alright, I'm doing this for Jennifer Aydin.'" 

In a moment of curiosity, Giudice even asked Swift if she recognized her, to which Swift responded with a subtle nod. 

"When I went up to her, I'm like, 'Do you know who I am?' And then she said, 'Yeah,'" recalled Giudice. "I have to say, Taylor Swift was so sweet. I'm such a Swiftie now, I'm such a fan! She was such a sweetheart, she really was. She was so sweet," she added.

Following the short conversation, the two snapped a photo together. Ruelas quickly shared the celeb spotting on his Instagram, which quickly garnered significant attention from fans and Bravo-Swiftites alike. Ruelas captioned the post, "Two absolute QUEENS, Taylor Swift, and my stunning wife @teresagiudice 💖" 

Fans flooded the comment section with praise. One Instagram user hailed it as the "best pic I've seen come out of Coachella," while another pointed out, "This begs the question: Is Taylor Swift a Housewives fan?!" 

Aydin, the motivating force behind Giudice's decision to approach Swift, also expressed her excitement over the photo. She wrote, "Ok- I'm finally jealous of something!!" 

Giudice's encounter with Swift at Coachella not only shook fans, but also showcased the genuine connection between two influential personalities from different realms of entertainment.
