Lala Kent, Vanderpump Rules star, has welcomed her second child into the world. 

The reality star gave birth earlier this week (Sept.3) after conceiving via a sperm donor – marking a significant moment in her journey to expand her family.

Kent, 34, did not share her birth story just yet, but announced the happy news on instagram. 

"Welcome to the world, my love," she simply wrote on her personal story. "9.3.24," she added. 

Although she has not posted photos of the newborn yet, Kent's followers are excited about the new addition.

Kent is already a mom to daughter Ocean, 3, whom she shares with ex-fiancé Randall Emmett. Kent decided to pursue intrauterine insemination (IUI) for her second child. Kent called off their engagement after she learned that Emmett allegedly cheated on her in Nashville. 

The movie producer was spotted with two women. Following the news, Kent and her daughter moved into the Beverly Hills Hotel. The two got engaged in 2018 in Mexico, just one year after Emmett finalized his divorce from his ex-wife Ambyr Childers. 

In a 2022 episode of the Scheananigans With Scheana Shay podcast, Kent explained why she wanted to raise a family on her own, without another person's help. 

"I will not even attempt to try and do it a different way," she stressed. "I don't want another person involved. She later told Lisa Vanderpump that she doesn't want a "baby daddy." Kent has been vocal about the challenges of co-parenting with Emmett, describing it as "extremely difficult" and emotionally draining. She expressed her excitement over having a child she won't have to share on holidays.

She announced the news about her second child back in March. Not only did she share the sex of the baby, but opened up about her unconventional pregnancy journey.

"I'm expanding my pod," she wrote alongside a string of precious photos. In April, she revealed the sex of her baby during an Amazon Live event, celebrating with a pink confetti-filled balloon. Shout-out to the daughters. I'm gonna have two," she said, excited about her role as a girl mom.

Women everywhere are cheering Kent on for her brave choice to take on solo parenting.
