Garcelle Beauvais is saying goodbye to 'RHOBH.' Find out why she’s leaving, how her co-stars are reacting, and the juicy drama behind her shocking decision.
Garcelle Beauvais has officially left The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and let’s just say, the reactions are as messy as a dinner party at Kyle Richards house. Beauvais, 58, broke the news on Tuesday (March 25) via Instagram, leaving Bravoholics shocked.
"I have some news: I have decided to leave Beverly Hills," she announced in a heartfelt video. "It’s been a wild ride, some amazing things have happened, and some hard things have also happened — but it’s been a ride nevertheless."
Why is she peacing out just before the season 14 reunion even airs? According to the reality star, it’s all about family and new career moves.
"One of the reasons why I’m leaving is my family, my boys. Their last year of high school is next year and I want to be a part of that. And Jade is starting a new career and I want to be a part of that, too. And secondly, I have the most exciting projects that I am developing, producing, and acting in — I can’t tell you anything now but you’ll know soon."
Sutton Stracke, Beauvais' ride-or-die since they both joined in 2019, took to Instagram with a throwback pic of the two, captioned: "Friends Forever. #RHOBH Lucy and Ethel." Sounds sweet, right? Well, hold onto your Birkin, because Beauvais hasn’t liked or commented on it.
The internet detectives were quick to point out that the two haven’t liked each other’s posts in weeks – which, in the Bravoverse is basically a war declaration.
"So, we’ve just seen Sutton and Garcelle have an argument, and Garcelle is not happy. She’s hurt and I don’t think Sutton really understands why, which saddens me," one fan speculated.
Meanwhile, over on Watch What Happens Live, Erika Jayne and RHOBH newbie Bozoma Saint John got grilled by Andy Cohen about Beauvais' shocking departure.
"I am disappointed that she is departing like this," Bozoma admitted. "I wish that she would’ve stuck around to work out another season."
Jayne? Oh, she was not holding back. "When we were at the reunion and I knew she was upset… obviously, we've known she's quit for two weeks. We knew this," she said before shading Cohen himself. When Andy claimed he "didn’t know" Beauvais quit, Jayne clapped back with, "revisionist history."
Then she hit us with the bombshell: "She didn’t take the cast photo with us. That is a clear indication that, 'I am leaving.'"
A VERY messy clip from the reunion had already teased Beauvais storming off the stage, cursing out her co-stars, and saying, "I can’t be friends with people like that. I don’t trust them. They're all f------ a-------."
Despite all the drama, many Housewives past and present rallied behind Beauvais, sending love and congrats on her next chapter.
"The show will not be the same without you. A class act always," wrote Camille Grammer. "Oh my God! Garcelle, We will really miss you! You brought so much integrity and warmth and humor to the franchise," shared Jennifer Tilly. "Congratulations. So happy for you," added Teresa Giudice.
But let’s be real, while the love was pouring in, some of Beauvais ex-castmates (cough Jayne cough) were clearly not feeling sentimental. And the fact that Kyle Richard, Dorit Kemsley, and Crystal Minkoff have stayed silent speaks volumes.
So, what’s next for Beauvais? Will she spill all the Bravo tea in a tell-all? Will she make a guest appearance to check Stracke next season? Or will she leave RHOBH behind for good? Let us know your Fan Of View in the comments.
