"Pour Me A Drink" because Blake Shelton will grace TV screens nationwide on Saturday, September 21.

ESPN's College GameDay is slated to visit Norman, Oklahoma, this upcoming weekend and football fans are gearing up. It has been nearly four years since the pre-game broadcast appeared in the small town of Norman, making the game between the Oklahoma Sooners (No.13) and Tennessee Volunteers (No. 7) extra exciting.

Fans were not allowed to watch College GameDay in person in 2020 due to COVID-19. The last time Norman had a rowdy crowd was in 2012.

During The Pat McAfee Show on Thursday (Sept. 19), Shelton was announced as the celebrity guest picker. The chart-topping artist is a proud Oklahoma native, having been born in Ada. However, he now resides near Tishomingo.

Following the news, Shelton turned to X (formerly known as Twitter) to express his excitement. Sports fans and country music enthusiasts also weighed in on ESPN's choice.

"Can't wait!!!!," wrote the hitmaker. "That's legendary. His music is just great," said a fan. "My favorite!!!! He is going to be hilarious!!!! Well done," added another.

Although many were thrilled with ESPN's decision, some were disappointed that the network didn't pick Oklahoma natives Garth Brooks or Zach Bryan

Although he is best known for his toe-tapping tracks and legendary role on NBC's The Voice, he's well-educated on the Oklahoma sports scene.

Though he admits to cheering for Oklahoma State and Tulsa occasionally, fans can expect him to stand behind the Sooners in this one – especially with Oklahoma taking on Tennessee in their first SEC game.
